What’s in your Sonnet Candle?

Do you know what’s in your candle?  Before starting Sonnet, I didn’t know what was in a lot of the candles I saw in stores I just knew I couldn’t buy them because I’d always react.  When I started Sonnet, I learned all about candles and what goes into them.  That’s when I realized I wanted to create something different.  I wanted the candles I created to be natural, and free of the additives and other things that as I did more and more research just aren’t good for you to burn in your home.

So what’s in a Sonnet Candle?

• Coconut - Soy Wax
• Flat braided Cotton Wicks
• Phthalate free fragrances

That’s it.  I don’t add any additives or colorants as those can also play with allergies and other sensitivities.  There is no paraffin. No zinc or lead wicks either.  I wanted to keep my candles as natural as I could so when you burned them in your home you could enjoy your candle without the worry of what else was filling the air.

Because I have a sensitivity to fragrance, I take great care with fragrance and how it’s used in the creation of our candles. That means picking a wax that will compliment those fragrances and also using wicks that will give the best scent throw when they’re lit.  Our candles are not going to overpower your space but will fill your space with a nice subtle scent that everyone can enjoy.
